Meet The Fleet

Captain Moe’s Lucky Fleet has been conveniently located in Old Town Key West in the Historic Seaport district for over 30 years. The Fleet consists of three well-maintained boats: The Lucky Charm, Reel Lucky, and Reel Lucky Too. Captain Moe started building the fleet in 1998 after spending the better part of 12 years racing some of the largest sailing yachts in the world.

No fleet would be complete without those who man the decks. Captain Moe handpicks, trains, and works with each captain to maintain a high level of professionalism to ensure that each charter returns with satisfied anglers. When you call 305-304-8065, you will be talking directly with Captain Moe or one of his trusted crew members.

Meet The Fleet

The Lucky Charm

42-ft custom Stapleton Sportfish

When he isn’t working with his captains on the dock, greeting guests, maintaining his fleet or cutting fish, Captain Moe likes to spend most of his time skippering The Lucky Charm. This locally built craft was tailor-made for day charter fishing here in Key West. Amenities on the boat include:

  • 3 custom-built fighting chairs, to handle even the largest of game fish
  • Penn rods and reels
  • Extremely large cabin
  • Plenty of seating, with great view of the action
  • Large bathroom with modern toilet
  • Huge Yeti cooler to load your drinks and food

On The Lucky Charm, you will have the upper hand when the battle is raging against even the largest of a fish. If you’re interested in live baiting for sailfish, shark fishing in the gulf, wreck fishing in the Florida straits, working the reef for large snapper and grouper or trolling the blue water for big mahi, wahoo, tuna, or marlin, The Lucky Charm is the boat for you.

Reel Lucky

30-ft custom Proguide Dorado

Reel Lucky is the jewel of the fleet. She’s specifically built for Key West and it shows. She’s a very dry ride with seating for six. When it comes to comfort, there isn’t a match on the island. She comes equipped with an inboard diesel and has plenty of space for battling large fish, whether you’re inshore, offshore, out in the gulf, or out in the flats. Reel Lucky comes equipped with the following:

  • Top-of-the-line Penn rods and reels
  • Custom Tee Top, a “shade tree” for when the sun becomes unbearable
  • Huge Live well
  • Large coffin box with space for drinks and food, and a cushion so big we call it the “diesel beach”

Meet The Fleet

Reel Lucky Too

26 ft Panga

Reel Lucky Too is the newest boat in the fleet. If you’ve ever traveled or fished in the Caribbean, you’ll recognize this style of boat. She’s a very stable, dry ride—and comfortable too. How can you go wrong when smugglers have been using that kind of boat for years? She’ll be perfect for catching tarpon in the harbor, hunting snapper, cobia, sharks and other fish around the gulf wrecks, flats, channels and patch reefs in Key West. Reel Lucky Too comes equipped with the following:

  • Top-of-the-line Penn rods and reels
  • Large Tee Top, a “shade tree” for when the sun becomes unbearable
  • Huge Yeti cooler
  • Custom conventional equipment for battling large fish
  • Plenty of room on deck to fight tarpon and sharks
